Welcome

From the obsession over “Girl Online” by Zoe Sugg as a teenager to the nonstop scribbling in my notebook and vlogging my life, I have always had the urge to share my stories. So one day I asked myself: what if I actually do it? And so I turned my biggest dream in reality and started my own blog, a little piece of me on the big big internet. A safe space for my thoughts and well everything else and I hope to make it a little safe place for you as well. A place filled with positivity, life stories and creativity.

 

Enough with the whole background story. I hear you thinking: but who am I? Well that’s a secret I will never tell. Sorry could not help myself XOXO.

 

I am Anne, a nineteen (soon te be twenty) year old girl. I grew up on a little island in the North of The Netherlands. A girl with big dreams, a lot of insecurities and a bit too smart for most. I never fit in, that is one fact and at sixteen I left my parents and the island and set my sails into the wide world. I stranded approximately 50 kilometers further in a little village close to the city that turned out to be not that big of a city. But I started all over and oh my it has been a ride. Right now I desperately want to move out, but yk housing market being a bitch, so Amsterdam just has to wait for me for a bit.

 

All right enough about the housing situation, let’s talk about me. So I am a initially shy girl, but you know it’s always the quiet ones. Meaning, if you know the real me you will know that I am the most kindhearted, outgoing, enthusiastic and positive person there is. It has not always been like that, growing up I faced a few challenges ending up at the darkest place I have ever been. And that is where I made the promise to myself to start living my life for me. Chasing after my biggest dreams and desires I am getting to know myself more and more and I am so grateful for the person I am today. Life is like a rollercoaster with the biggest highs and lows, but I am loving every second of it.

 

During this journey I realized how amazing life can be and I want to share that with anyone. When I die I want to be remembered as the person who lived her life to the fullest, was fearless and spread her endless positivity with the people around her (oh and of course I will have to be the cool grandma with all of the insane stories to tell from when I was young…)

 

Oh and other than that I spend my time studying, I am in my last year of university so just a little bit longer, or I am doing  one of my million hobbies: figure skating, crocheting, running, reading, walking, dancing, traveling (when the budget allows), horse riding oh and writing of course!
